Courvoisier is one of the most prestigious cognac houses, known for its refined craftsmanship, rich history, and meticulous blending techniques. It is often associated with luxury and elegance, earning the title “The Cognac of Napoleon” due to its historical ties to the French emperor.

Founded in 1809 by Emmanuel Courvoisier and Louis Gallois in the Parisian suburb of Bercy, Courvoisier quickly became a favorite among French nobility. By 1869, Napoleon III granted the house the title of “Official Supplier to the Imperial Court,” cementing its status as a cognac of distinction. Today, Courvoisier is headquartered in Jarnac, France, in the heart of the Cognac region.
