Pappy Van Winkle’s 2019 Family Reserve Bourbon 23 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose:Â Dark fruit, espresso coffee, oak and buttery toffee. Sublime stuff.
Palate:Â Taste the various hints of caramel, ripe apples, cherries, oak wood and tobacco with a hint of chocolate. This bourbon finishes with a long-lasting and pleasant taste.
Finish:Â Starts with a lot of wood flavors but leads to a nice sweet caramel finish.

Buffalo Trace Distillery is a distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, that is owned by the Sazerac Company. It has historically been known by several names, including the George T. Stagg Distillery and the Old Fire Copper Distillery.
